COLOR BLOCKING
It simply means that one pairs two or three different colors together to make a bold statement. I like to think of it as different pieces of a puzzle come together to create the full garment.
CHILDLORE
In recent years, most childrenswear is heavily influenced by trends in adult fashion. However, function and design must meet at the right proportions in childrenswear for it to be popular and accepted.
FUR
In 2019, luxury brands and retailers disavowed fur after the 2018 London fashion week banned fur from its catwalks. However, fur hasn't fallen out of fashion, the recent development of luxurious, realistic-looking fur-free furs has come into place.
SLEEP WEAR
It is designed to be worn for "sleeping" or at "bedtime". Wear sleepwear in public had been become popular over the past decade and there are a huge debate on is it appropriate to do so or not.
HANFU
Nowadays, an increasing number of young Chinese who adopt hanfu as part of their everyday and public wardrobes say that they wear it to show appreciation for their heritage and to feel a connection to their root.
MENSWEAR
History has shown a clear differentiation between menswear and womenswear. These differences align with the gender beliefs of the time. However, the current fashion trend is all about owning a wardrobe that has a fine balance between traditional and casual menswear.
